Case study · Full mouth — All-on-6, both jaws

A patient was quoted £8,400. The £9,225 quote was cheaper.

One case, sent to clinics we work with. What came back shows why two full-mouth implant quotes are almost never the same piece of work.

A real case, with the patient removed. No name, age, location or medical history — nothing that could identify anyone. Every figure is one a clinic put in writing.

What the patient told us

No forms, no dental jargon. They described the situation, marked which teeth were missing on a chart, and answered questions about how long they had been gone. That is enough to build a plan a clinic can respond to.

Teeth missing
12, across both jaws
How long
More than 5 years
What they wanted
Fixed teeth, not dentures
Biggest worry
Being quoted one price and charged another

Missing teeth for over five years matters more than it sounds: the bone shrinks where a tooth used to be, and the sinus drops into the space. That is what drives whether grafting is needed.

Ask these before you compare any two quotes

  1. 1

Is that one jaw, or both?

The biggest one by far. Many quotes are per jaw, and a case like this needs two — it can double the figure.

  2. 2

Are the fixed teeth included, or just the implants?

The implants are the posts in the bone. The teeth on top are separate work and usually the more expensive half. A lot of headline prices are implants only.

  3. 3

Are the extractions in the price?

If teeth have to come out first, that is real surgery and someone is paying for it.

  4. 4

    What is the card fee?

One clinic here adds 12% for paying by card. On £9,000 that is £1,107 — and paying cash means no chargeback if anything goes wrong.

Now do this with your own mouth

Same process, your case. Describe your situation, mark the teeth, and you get an itemised plan and real prices from clinics matched to what you actually need. It takes a few minutes and costs nothing — and getting clinics to review your case is free too.

No card, no obligation. No clinic contacts you — we make the introduction only when you say so.
