Why the count matters more than the country
Veneers are priced per tooth, so the total depends mainly on how many teeth are treated. Eight veneers in Hungary costs less than twelve in Turkey. Any comparison between two countries — or two clinics — is meaningless until the tooth count is fixed on both sides.
The second variable is material. Composite, porcelain and E-max are three different treatments with different lifespans, and the gap between them within one clinic is often wider than the gap between two countries on the same material.
Where Hungary makes sense
Hungary is roughly 45% more than Turkey on the same work and roughly 55% less than the UK. What it buys for that premium is proximity: Budapest is about two and a half hours from London against four to Istanbul, it is an EU member state, and returning for an adjustment is a manageable trip rather than a project.
For a large case the Turkish saving usually outweighs that. For eight veneers with a possible refinement visit, plenty of patients reasonably choose the shorter flight.

The thing to settle first is how much of your own tooth you're willing to lose. The same smile can often be reached by more than one route — whitening and a bit of reshaping, veneers, or full crowns — and they differ enormously in how permanent they are. Cheaper up front usually means more tooth removed.

What the price does not cover
Preparation work is quoted separately almost everywhere. Whitening of the lower teeth to match the new uppers, gum contouring where the gum line is uneven, and treatment of any decay found on examination are all normal additions rather than surprises.
A clinic that has seen your X-rays can tell you which of these apply before you travel. One that has seen only a photograph cannot, which is the entire reason we ask for the assessment first.
