About Our Clinic

VitalEurope is a leading dental clinic with locations in Central London and Budapest, founded in 2006. Since then, the clinic has treated over 50,000 patients and maintains a 97% recommendation rate. The Budapest facility is located on the scenic Buda side of the city, covering more than 1,000 square metres with nine treatment chairs, spacious air-conditioned waiting areas, and advanced diagnostic equipment including CT scanners and dental microscopes. VitalEurope offers professional airflow polishing, advanced endodontic methods, and highly precise tooth preparation using microscope-assisted techniques. The clinic provides savings of up to 70% compared to typical UK prices, and its London office means patients have a local point of contact for follow-up care after returning home.

During my childhood, there was the SzTK (Hungarian State Dental Service), and apart from that, I had hardly heard of any other alternatives for dental treatment. Consequently, all my cavities were treated through the central healthcare system. I have never been fond of dentists. Quite the contrary. I would turn almost pale when anaesthesia was mentioned. In 2013, an acquaintance recommended a clinic where my treatment commenced for the restoration of my mouth and teeth, which were not in pristine condition at the time. Dr. Attila Pesei was my treating dentist then, whom I began to follow when he left that city centre clinic, owing to the fact that I was practically able to fall asleep during even the most extensive procedures whilst under his care. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to be amongst his patients, as he cannot undertake this due to other commitments. At Vital Europe, I have been treated by numerous excellent doctors, about whom I hold positive opinions. Among all of them, I would particularly highlight Dr. Harilkia Kustán. Based on my experience, I can approach her with confidence at any time. My negative experience is that appointments for foreign patients who spend certain time intervals in Hungary take precedence, owing to the fact that they are only here for those few days and the complete correction in their mouths needs to be resolved during that time. Therefore, I cannot request an early appointment, not even for check-ups. Nevertheless, I do not change practices, because my previous poor experiences are not worth further disappointments. I accept receiving late morning or rather early afternoon appointments, but I am confident that they will responsibly examine my oral cavity when my turn comes.

I first contacted VitalEurope in London in the summer of 2022. I agreed on undergoing a dental treatment in Budapest a few months later, involving the replacement of almost all my upper-jaw teeth/crowns. That treatment duly proceeded and finished in December 2022. It cost around US$3,500. I attended twice yearly appointments since then, in Budapest, for cleaning, descaling, etc., costing around US$ 100 at a time. I paid for all the foregoing with AmEx (large amounts) or a debit card. By 2025 I had spent at least $4,000 at Vital Europe over the course of 2-1/2 years. In spring 2025 I decided to do a partial crown (re)placement on my bottom jaw, entailing several visits and payment in two tranches, totaling approximately $2,000. After the first part of the substantive treatment I asked to pay the $1,600 bill by wire transfer. The staff appeared inexplicably perplexed but made arrangements; however, I was asked to email them proof of payment as soon as possible. The following day, just before the wire went through, they called me to again demand proof of payment. It should be borne in mind that I had temporary crowns fitted at the time so the likelihood of my absconding without paying was highly improbable. At the final visit I again asked to pay, the sum of $500, by wire transfer, adding I would do it first thing when I arrive home. (I live in Budapest, permanently, so that meant a couple hours later.) I was instead directed to a computer at the facility and asked to render the payment there and then. In other words, they practically disallowed me to leave before I effected the transfer AND provided evidence thereof. I remonstrated but the response was that it was standard policy. It is as disappointing as it is astonishing that they should treat a longstanding client, and one who had spent more than $5,000 with them by that juncture, in such a manner. Contrast that with another provider (EviDent Pro), just up the road, who performed a surgery (gingival graft, which VitalEurope does not do) and permitted me to pay by a wire transfer after the procedure and after several checkups, at my leisure, without any frantic phone calls. Although the dental treatment VitalEurope provides is good (hence more than a single star), their customer treatment is abysmal. "Policy" is not written in stone and is no excuse to practically hold a person hostage until they cough up the money. To treat an old client as if he was in a restaurant for the first time and might "dine and dash" is simply inexcusable. Needless to say, I will not be having any further treatments done at VitalEurope nor do (or will) I recommend them. My mother was looking at having all her crowns replaced there but that has zero chance of happening now. Despicable.

I've been a patient with Vitaleurope for many years and i can honestly say the level of professionalism, the attention to detail and dental surgery skills is second to none. You start with a consultation in the London office again handled with great care and sensitivity throughout a detailed dental plan is worked out, with full costs and order on treatment. If required you then go to Budapest, hotel is arranged and pick up from the airport in my case I did. And from there the front of house team take over, always welcoming always keeping you informed and generally managing a seamless overall process. Then the treatment handled by Dr Peter Dudas and an array of very competent very skilled clinical staff who work like a well oiled machine, to produce the end result. And i have to say i have not been disappointed at all, so thank you all.......

I could not recommend Vital Europe highly enough. I have just completed my treatment with them having first been treated in 2010 for replacement of an old NHS bridge. Since then I have returned for full dental work and I am delighted with the results. The whole team from the customer coordinator Georgia to the staff in London and Budapest are friendly and professional to deal with. My dentist Dr Szaszovszky worked wonders fitting crowns on my difficult original teeth with a relaxed and kind bedside manner. The results are excellent both in appearance and performance. Above all, it was a pleasure to visit and enjoy all that Budapest has to offer, which is fast becoming one of my favorite cities (aside from London of course!). Thank you once again Vital Europe, I will continue to send friends and family your way.

My wife received treatment here for nearly two years, but the results were disappointing. The overall experience lacked professionalism and responsibility, falling far short of our expectations. I am puzzled by the many positive reviews, as they do not reflect our actual experience at all.
