Trust & Transparency
MyDentalFly is an independent platform. We are not owned by any dental clinic. Every clinic on our platform passes the same verification process — no exceptions, no paid listings.
Most dental tourism platforms are either directories (where clinics pay to be listed) or booking agents (where the platform promotes whichever clinic pays the highest commission). In both models, the platform's incentives are not aligned with the patient's best interests.
MyDentalFly is different. We earn a flat commission only when a patient completes treatment — not when a clinic pays a listing fee or advertising budget. This means we have no incentive to list poor-quality clinics, push specific clinics, or suppress negative feedback. If a clinic consistently receives complaints, we remove them — even if they are commercially valuable.
We verify the clinic is a registered business in its country of operation, with valid dental practice licences and professional liability insurance.
We check that the clinic employs qualified dentists registered with the relevant national dental council. For specialist treatments (implants, prosthodontics), we verify specialist qualifications.
We assess the clinic's facilities, equipment, sterilisation protocols, and infection control measures. Clinics with international accreditations (JCI, ISO, TEMOS) receive priority but accreditation is not the only criterion.
We analyse reviews across Google, Trustpilot, dental tourism forums, and Facebook groups. We look for patterns — not just star ratings. Clinics with evidence of fake reviews, review solicitation, or review suppression are flagged or rejected.
We verify that the clinic provides transparent, itemised pricing. Clinics that quote package prices without per-tooth breakdowns, or that have a pattern of price changes after patient arrival, are not listed.
We assess how the clinic communicates with patients — response times, willingness to answer detailed questions, and quality of treatment plan documentation.
After listing, clinics are continuously monitored through patient feedback, post-treatment follow-ups, and regular review of online reputation. Any verified quality complaint triggers an investigation.
Not every clinic that applies is accepted. We maintain strict criteria and have rejected clinics for the following reasons:
Fake or manipulated reviews
Evidence of purchased reviews, Trustpilot removal flags, or suspiciously uniform 5-star ratings posted in bulk
Price bait-and-switch
Pattern of advertising one price online and presenting a significantly higher price after the patient arrives
Malpractice complaints
Verified patient reports of poor clinical outcomes, negligence, or failure to address complications
Aggressive upselling
Patients report final bills far exceeding initial quotes, or clinics pushing unnecessary treatments
Unverifiable credentials
Clinic cannot provide evidence of dental practice licences, dentist qualifications, or insurance coverage
Formal removal requests
If a clinic requests removal from our platform, we comply immediately and mark them as rejected to prevent re-listing
Pre-arrival case file
Your complete dental assessment is shared with the clinic before you travel, so the treatment plan is agreed in advance — not improvised on arrival.
Direct clinic relationships
We have personal relationships with clinic owners and decision-makers. If you have an issue, we can escalate directly — not through a call centre.
Holding deposit protection
Your deposit secures pricing and is held by MyDentalFly. If the clinic cancels or fails to deliver the agreed treatment plan, your deposit is protected.
Post-treatment follow-up
We follow up with patients after treatment to collect feedback and identify any issues early. This feedback drives our ongoing clinic monitoring.
Complete a 2-minute dental assessment and we'll match you with clinics that have passed our verification process — based on your specific treatment needs.
2-minute assessment · No commitment · 29 verified clinics
Every clinic goes through a multi-step verification process. We check business registration, dental council registration, dentist qualifications, insurance, facility standards, patient reviews across multiple platforms, and online reputation. Clinics that pass are listed but monitored on an ongoing basis.
No. MyDentalFly is an independent comparison platform. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or funded by any dental clinic. Our role is to help patients assess their needs and compare verified clinics — not to promote any single clinic.
Clinics that fail vetting are rejected and not listed on the platform. Their claim pages return a 404 error. We maintain a record of rejected clinics with the reason for rejection to prevent re-listing.
No. Clinics cannot pay for a listing. Every clinic must pass the same verification process. Our revenue comes from a commission when a patient books treatment through the platform — not from listing fees. This means we have no incentive to list clinics that do not meet our standards.
Contact us immediately. We act as a mediator between you and the clinic. Because we have direct relationships with clinic owners and decision-makers, we can escalate issues quickly. Persistent quality problems result in clinic removal from the platform.
Clinics are monitored continuously. We track patient feedback, review platform ratings, and follow up with patients after treatment. Any clinic that receives verified complaints about quality, pricing transparency, or patient care is investigated and may be removed.
Yes. For clinics where we have a direct partnership, we verify the qualifications of the dentists who will perform treatments — particularly specialists like implantologists and prosthodontists. Patients should always ask which specific dentist will treat them.
